Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Sanchez is a painter and photographer who attended both the American Academy of the New York Art Students League and the San Juan Arts Students League. His works which features landscapes of his native Puerto Rico transports us to an ideal place, full of hope peace and harmony. An example of this is a series of paintings called “Metamorphosis: Dreams and Memories”.

Sanchez says that through his work he “invites the viewer to reflect what is truly natural and beautiful, by awakening what may have been forgotten or overlooked, or by instilling something new and surprising.
